  1. I remember one Sunday morning, I excitedly told Pastor Bong that I am really living life! It was an "ah-ha" moment when I experienced the joy of sharing Jesus and the love of God with people simply while living life. This is the impact that DU has on me. It's not a program but a mission; it is unscripted and unrehearsed but Spirit-led. I am learning to take every opportunity to show that God is tangibly loving and am inviting people into personal relationship with Jesus. Oh, and one unintended consequence is that Peter and I are more on the same page ever since we practiced DU. We are more comfortable with greeting people in the elevator, opening our home to friends, helping strangers, etc. That's a wonderful thing!

  2. To me DU is the mean and the Bible is the end. DU shows me one of the ways to fulfill the Great Commission. The weekly cohort helps me to be an active, and not a passive, disciples maker. The biweekly workshop with the author Dr. Warren Haynes gives all the participants an interactive encouragement to each other. With the conclusion of DU I am ready for the next journey to deepen my relationship with Jesus.

  3. Discipleship uncomplicated help me to be more mindful of relationships and the people that I encountered; whether they’re acquaintances or neighbors. I gotten a bit more comfortable with talking to people and asking questions. I tend to not talk to strangers since I don’t really know them. The cohort help push each other to practice the principles.
