I added one more name to my reach list and prayed the 3 P's for my names. Had the opportunity to pray with 3 of them on Monday, but I missed all of my chances (felt a little like Peter denying Jesus 3x)!
ReplyDeleteI've been to many situations like this before. And it never gets better overtime i miss the chances. Good thing our God is redemptive even in cases like this. You will your chances, and when that comes, expect the heaven to open up.
DeleteI reached out to my friend, told her that I've been praying for her and sent her what I prayed for specifically. She was very grateful and said it really meant a lot to her. It was encouraging for both of us! -Jenna
ReplyDeleteAmen! So encouraging. God is busy working in the heart of the non-Christian and the Christian. He wants us to get busy too.
DeleteI added Daniel to my reach list. He came to Jesus last Wedneday, he attended churchfor the first time last Sunday and also made a public confession of his faith during church.
ReplyDeleteI prayed for the rest of my reach list.
I focused on Edito to teach him how to pray for 3 P's for others. Edito is a friend of Daniel ans the reason how listened to the gospel.
Praise the Lord for Daniel moving from chair #1 to chair #2. Praying for the church and fellow believers to help him to chair #3.
DeleteI pray consistently for Austin and for my sibling families, Jimmy's and Judy's, to open up their hearts and to receive Jesus as the savior and the master of their lives. I prayed with my brothers and sisters in Christ on my Friday night fellowship, Saturday morning prayer meeting, Sunday after worship small group, and Wednesday cohort.
ReplyDeleteI pray that God gives us discernment and wisdom to pray. We pray because we want to know You more so that You can transform us to be Your vessels, and not the other way around. God please empty us so that we can listen more to Your voice, keep Your responses in our hearts and live out Your word. Please make us not to forget listening while busy in praying.
It was good to pray with Judy and Jimmy. Let’s ask God for the next opportunity to pray with them again soon.
DeleteThank God for allowing me to pray the 3 P’s with Austin! And for writing a 3-P prayer on a sympathy card for the Arakaki’s.
ReplyDeleteWhile doing a move-out inspection today, Tony (tenant) told me about his plan to bring his 4-year old daughter to Hawaii for good, and Tori (his girlfriend)'s grandmother passed away today. A lot seem to be happening in his household. How could I resist praying with him? I offered and he agreed. I can tell that Tony was touched because his eyes turned red. After we said Amen, this 6-foot plus Army man gave me a big hug. God extended His peace to him through my prayer.
