    An inspiring story about loving God and loving people is how Yeon (Korean student) came to church. God connected me with Yeon's mom and her mom shared that she did not have any friends to practice speaking English with during the peak COVID season. Christine volunteered to reach out to her and became her big sister and brought her to church. Her parents also came as a result of her involvement in the hand chime choir. God loves us so much that He put us at places to share life with our neighbors.

    Loving God is our priority. I can make disciple but if it is not based on my love to God, it is just an exercise.
    If I say I love God, then I should love others.
    Lord help me this week to love others and make disciples.

      The interesting thing about making disciples is that God have reworked many things as we have seen in this Sunday's sermon. God was moving in Cornelius heart and so he was moving in Peter's heart. Without a doubt, God is on the move in the community. The big question remains, is he working in the hearts of the believer. Or are the believers allowing God to move in their hearts in the first place.

      I am not a discipler, God is. People should not follow me, but God. You can call me anything and my role is to bring His people to Him. Peter.

      No one wakes up one day and makes up his/her mind to follow Jesus. Someone brought him/her along. Paul sows the seed, Apollo’s waters it. God makes things grow. God is calling us to be Paul and Apollos. Let’s get to work.

    Love God, Love People? To me is Love God before Love People. Why? Because if we do not know the love between God and us, we do not know how to love people (the way that God want us to love). Our old self's love is more like relationship bartering. Always make sure that our transactions are making a profit. After justification and on our way to sanctification, God wants us to love like Him. And God's way to meet love challenges is to continue to love and to love more. In the end I love people because God wants me to. I love God is not because people want me to, but because I want to. Peter.
